My husband, Michael and I were married at St. John's in September of '05. Michael has lived up the street from St. John's for the past eight years...when we started dating I noticed it as well. When we became engaged it was a natural fit to be married at a beautiful church in our neighborhood… not to mention it was the church Mike Myers was married at in "So I Married An Axe Murderer." Hollywood or not, little did we know that not only were we getting a beautiful church (the stained glass says it all), but a fantastic pastor and someone we now call a friend!

St. John's and its family guided us through our engagement process, from securing a date, to meeting John Anderson, to the outstanding organist Garrett! John met with us during our nine month engagement, encouraged us to open the lines of communication, and helped us come together as a couple, to identify our different styles and concerns.

Coming from different backgrounds, my husband Catholic, myself Methodist, we were able to create a ceremony that fit us! The day of our wedding was perfect...the rehearsal put us at ease...we were all set to go! St. John's has been a part of San Francisco for a long time! We look forward to sharing more memories as the years go by!

Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you so much for all your help and support throughout our wedding. Your advice during our Prepare session was invaluable and really "cleared" up some minor issues. And we can tell you how comforting you were throughout our ceremony! What we thought would be the most nerve-racking experiences of our lives actually turned out to be more relaxed and fun than we could have imagined- thanks in large part to you!

As for us, everything is going great! After the holidays we went on our honeymoon to the Caribbean which was very fun. We have really settled down now and things are looking very bright for the both of us! Thank you so much!
